Alcatel, an international brand, is likely to launch a bunch of high-end smartphones in 2018. Recently, a series of leaks were made by Evan Blass that shows the images of the six upcoming smartphones.
According to the leaks, the company is planning to launch the Alcatel 1X, 3, 3C, 3X, 3V and Alcatel 5. Among these, the Alcatel 5 will be the flagship model with metal body, minimal bezels at the chin, dual-front facing cameras and a fingerprint sensor at the back. However, in the flagship model, there will be just one camera at the back.
It is expected that Alcatel 3, 3X and 3V will be made of glass or plastic. The leaked images suggest that 3X and 3V will feature dual cameras at the rear. In addition, Alcatel 3V will have an elongated screen of 18:9.
Expectations are that Alcatel 3C and 1 would be the budget smartphones among these. The former is seen with a fingerprint sensor at the rear, while the later is having none. As of now, no other official specifications are known to us.
Whatsoever, we highly anticipate the launch of Alcatel 5 in the US next year with one or two more appearing in the leaked image. Although no further details have emerged till now, it can be safely assumed that few of them could be unveiled at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January 2018.
