Samsung China has confirmed that Chinese language support for the Bixby Voice Assistant will be launched on November 30th. Earlier this year, in August, Samsung had extended the Bixby Voice support to more than 200 countries. China launch was, however, delayed due to the local cybersecurity laws.
As of now, the Bixby Voice supports only two languages, English and Korean. The company was working on adding the Chinese language support. Samsung had also initiated a beta testing in China a couple of weeks back, which will be ending on November 29th.
The Bixby Voice Assistant is currently supported only on three smartphones - Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ and the Galaxy Note 8. Chinese users of these phones are eagerly waiting for this feature which is evident from the fact that the 15,000 beta spots were filled up very quickly.
