Gionee is on a roll these days. The company is looking forward to its big event scheduled on 26th of this month where it is expected to launch no less than eight new smartphones. Many of these smartphones have appeared several times on various benchmarking and certification websites by now and what we have learnt so far certainly hints towards some seriously powerful smartphones coming our way.
Gionee might emerge as a more powerful player in the coming year if it plays all its cards right, and believe me, it is not leaving any stone unturned to make sure it does so.
The Gionee GN5007 appeared on Geekbench and listing reveals a few details about its hardware. The phone runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat and powered by a 1.4GHz Octa-core Qualcomm processor (unknown chipset) and 4GB RAM.
Earlier leaks regarding the same model suggest it to be mid-range device featuring a 6-inch display with HD+ resolution (1440 x 720 pixels), 13MP main camera, 8MP front camera, and a powerful 5,000mAh battery. The device will be available in two storage variants - 32GB and 64GB, with an options to expand the storage further up to 256GB.
