Huawei, a Chinese company, is all set to launch various smartphones during its event in Berlin, Germany, later today. But, before this, Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro prototypes have surfaced online. Though they are non-functional units, seeing them, one will realize they are very much identical to the two devices that will be announced later today.
According to the images flashed online, the Huawei Mate 10 Pro will have thinner bezels at the vertical ends as compared to the Mate 10. Both the smartphones are expected to feature Kirin 970 64-bit octa-core SoC processor which is known to be the new flagship for the brand. At the camera front, Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro will come with a dual camera setup at the rear assisted with dual LED, dual tone flash and laser autofocus. The dummies show that the fingerprint scanner is not available at the rear of the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, however, there could be a possibility that there could be a front-facing fingerprint scanner. Going by the images, it seems neither of the phones will come with physical keys at the front.
Coming to the display part, it is expected that Huawei Mate 10 Pro will sport 5.99-inch full HD display of 18:9 aspect ratio and with a screen resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels, while Huawei Mate could come with a larger panel but with the same aspect ratio. As far as battery power is concerned, the Mate 10 Pro is expected to feature a 4,000mAh non-removable battery, while for the Mate 10 is unknown as of now. Furthermore, it is highly anticipated that both the smartphones will sport 6GB of RAM and will operate on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo.
