After being spotted on TENAA and GFXBench sometimes back, the Gionee S11 has again appeared in a couple of live images on Weibo, the Chinese microblogging website. Gionee is expected to reveal eight new smartphones at an event in China on Nov 26th and the S11 is expected to be one of them. A few days back, another smartphone from the lot, the Gionee Steel 3 was also spotted on the Chinese certification website TENAA.
The multiple appearance of the Gionee S11 have revealed quite a few information about its specifications. The phone features an elongated (18:9) display of 6.01 inches with Full-HD+ resolution (2160 x 1080 pixels). Under the hood would be a 2.5GHz octa-core processor, probably MediaTek MT6763 chipset along with 6GB RAM and ARM Mali-G71 GPU.
The camera department seems to be the key attraction of this smartphone as the images reveal dual camera setup both at the back as well as the front. Previous leaks suggest a pair of 16MP + 8MP camera at the back and 20MP + 8MP camera at the front. For storage, there will be 64GB storage on board that can be expanded further to 128GB using the hybrid SIM slot of the device. The smartphone will run Android v7.1.1 (Nougat) with Amigo OS 5.0.
The leaked images show that the smartphone will have a bezel-less design and will be available in at least three different colours - Blue, Pink and Gold. Design-wise, the phone is thin at 6.95 mm and weighs 177.8 grams.
