The pictures and specifications of the upcoming smartphone from OPPO have been spotted on the Chinese website Tenaa. Called the OPPO A85, the smartphone is scheduled to be launched in January 2018.
If the leaks are to be believed, the smartphone, just like its predecessor OPPO A83, will not be featuring a fingerprint sensor. The device is speculated to be boasting a stylish looking body with a 5.7-inch display screen and an aspect ratio of 18:9, which will make watching videos or playing games more fun.
There isn’t going to be any change in the smartphone from the A83 model as long as the camera features are concerned. The A85 is expected to be carrying a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front camera. The device will be running on a 3,090mAH Li-Po battery.
The device will be powered by a 2.5GHz octa-core processor to go with a 4GB RAM. It will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The storage capacity of the device will be 32GB which could further be expanded upto 128GB using a microSD card. Going by the leaks, it can be said that the only two major differences in this new model from that of the A83 are that the RAM has been upgraded from 2GB to 4GB and the internal storage capacity has also been doubled up from 16GB to 32GB.
