A spy image from the official poster of the Redmi 5A has been surfaced online, and it is actually revealing a lot about the design and details of the smartphone.
According to the leaked image, Redmi 5A is nothing very different from the Redmi 4A in terms of the design. The former seems to appear in a stylish metal body, while the later was launched with a plastic one. The image also suggests that the smartphone also features two antenna lines at the top of the body with the rear camera and an LED flash placed in between them, while a speaker grille is offered at the back.
Although Redmi 5A is much heavier than its predecessor, a text written at the base of the image suggests that the device would be light in weight and will possess a long battery life. The smartphone, reportedly, will weigh 137g and will have an 8-day standby battery life, while the Redmi 4A had a larger 3,120mAh battery and was weighing 131.5g.
The image also confirms that the smartphone is expected to feature a 5-inch HD display and have a Snapdragon 425 processor with MIUI 9 pre-installed. However, it is confirmed that the device will come in two variants: 2GB of RAM + 16GB ROM and 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM. Both the variants are expected to have a 3,000mAh battery.
